Townes is a vinyl only DJ who grew up outside of Detroit and near Stuttgart, where he is currently based. Passionate for various music styles in general, his DJ sets pull inspiration from all the subgenres of electronic music. With almost a decade of experience behind the decks, he manages to seamlessly blend four to the floor breakbeats, electro and ghetto, the occasional house gem, and records released decades ago as well as ones fresh out the pressing plant all into sets that are bound to keep you wondering: “what’s coming next?”. His story telling and technical ability have garnered him much respect in the underground scene with international shows in subculture hotspots becoming more and more common for this young DJ. Recent highlights include his first North America Tour, his debut in Tresor Berlin as well as his Asia debut in Tokyo – only underlining the fact that Townes is someone to keep an eye, or better your ears on.
